This was my first Hyde Bank Farm Wedding, and my did it not disappoint! When Candice first got in touch through email, I knew this was going to be a wedding to remember.
Hyde Bank Farm Wedding
Hyde Bank Farm is a stunning wedding venue set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Farmed by the Blackhurst family for over a century, the barn and endless grounds are the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding. A brief history of the building, On the far end of the building is a date stone marked ‘ARH 1655’. It is a grade two listed building because of its architectural and historical interest.
The building used to be a barn, where horse-drawn carts would pull in to unload hay and corn sheaves into the lofts. The buildings were once home to Ann Hyde who went on to marry James II, King of England! How cool is that? The ceremony room is set on the first floor. With its stone walls and oak beams its a beautiful room to tie the knot. The wedding breakfast and reception room is wonderfully lit and the perfect setting to celebrate the night away.
Wedding Day For Candice & Kenny
I met Candice and the girls earlier in the day at Magpie Cottages. Kenny and the boys were getting ready next door so it was great being able to capture the build up and excitement of them both. It was lovely working with the talented Bridal Hair & Make-Up Of Cheshire again. Candice looked absolutely stunning in her Ronald Joyce wedding dress and the look on her Dad’s face when he saw her for the first time said it all.
The day started off in true Great British fashion, wet! The rain soon cleared as everybody made their way upstairs and awaited the arrival of the bride. They had a beautiful and emotional ceremony and walked up the aisle together as husband and wife to the lovely sounds of The Rolling Keys.
After a few formal group shots and drinks on the grounds, everyone made their way back inside for speeches and food.
A Walk Around Hyde Bank Farm
The clouds had cleared and we had a beautiful spring day. I had a lovely walk around the grounds with the newly weds and got some lovely portraits of them both together. Kenny Made Candice laugh so much as we walked, you could definitely see the love these two have for each other.
Party Time At Hyde Bank Farm
After a lovely walk around the grounds and of course, more drinks, it was time for that age old tradition of cutting the wedding cake and the first dance as Mr & Mrs. Candice’s bridesmaid sang the first dance and did a wonderful job. Wedding band The Rolling Keys that are led by an amazing singer and and ex X Factor contestant. She made it to the judges houses, an absolute incredible voice. The celebrations continued with shots of Tequila and Jäger Bombs at the bar.
A fantastic day with amazing people at a wonderful venue. I cant wait to work here again soon with already a couple of weddings booked in.
