Looking for a wedding venue that’s got stunning scenery, total privacy and space to throw a proper party? Gisburne Park weddings delivers all that and more in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
About Gisburne Park Estate
Gisburne Park weddings has lovely landscapes, historic charm and modern versatility in one unforgettable setting. The estate dates back to the 18th century and is home to a Grade I listed Georgian house, ancient woodland, rivers, stone bridges and tucked-away corners that feel a world away from everyday life.
As a completely exclusive use Lancashire wedding venue, you’ll have the entire estate to yourselves. No shared spaces, no other events, no interruptions. It’s just you, your guests and one of the most impressive wedding venues in the Ribble Valley to make your own.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces
One of the biggest reasons couples choose a wedding at Gisburne Park Estate is the choice of spaces. You can exchange vows outdoors surrounded by woodland and river views or use Riverside House as an indoor ceremony space or a weather safe backup.
When it comes to your reception, the estate is a complete blank canvas. Many Gisburne Park weddings feature tipi or marquee setups on the lawns, while others go for a festival style celebration with outdoor bars, live music, food trucks and fire pits. However you want the day to look and feel, this venue gives you the freedom to design it your way.
Guest Experience and Accommodation
A Gisburne Park wedding isn’t just a single day event. With so much accommodation on site, from cosy cottages and luxury lodges to glamping pods and historic houses, it’s designed for a full weekend of celebrations.
Guests can arrive the day before for a relaxed BBQ or drinks reception and stay on for a chilled brunch the day after. That flexibility means the whole celebration feels like a getaway rather than a one day event, and it’s one of the reasons this Lancashire wedding venue is so popular with couples planning a multi day celebration.
What Makes Gisburne Park Weddings Stand Out
Few venues offer the same combination of space, privacy and natural beauty as Gisburne Park Estate. The setting is incredible for wedding photography, with riverside paths, woodland trails, bridges and gorgeous countryside views that change with the light throughout the day.
It’s also one of the most flexible wedding venues in Lancashire, giving you total control over how your day unfolds. There’s no rigid schedule, no preset packages and no one telling you how your wedding should look. You can plan a relaxed outdoor ceremony, a cracking all night party or anything in between.
Rachel & Sam’s Gisburne Park Wedding
Rachel and Sam celebrated their Gisburne Park wedding on one of the hottest days of the year. The sun was blazing, the skies were clear and the Lancashire countryside was the perfect backdrop for their summer celebration.
Rachel spent the morning getting ready in Riverside House at Gisburne Park Estate, surrounded by her bridal party and all the excitement of the wedding morning. Sam made his way to the house fully suited and booted, with guests already starting to explore the beautiful grounds.
The couple held their ceremony in the tipi on the estate, a popular choice for Gisburne Park weddings thanks to its relaxed, outdoor feel and stunning natural setting. After the ceremony, everyone stood on the bridge and showered the newlyweds with confetti before making their way to the marquee for a drinks reception and a chance to enjoy the scenic views that make this Lancashire wedding venue so special.
The speeches were a real highlight of the day, with guests going from laughter to tears in minutes. Before the evening party started, I took Rachel and Sam for a short portrait session around the estate, capturing natural moments by the river and in some of the most picturesque corners of Gisburne Park Estate.
As the sun started to dip, the party kicked off with a first dance filled with confetti and smiles. It wasn’t long before family and friends joined them on the dance floor, and the celebrations carried on late into the night. The perfect end to a stunning wedding at Gisburne Park Estate.
