A Real Wedding at GG’s Yard: Stevie & Cat
Stevie and Cat travelled up from Lancashire after discovering their dream wedding venue in Scotland. On a beautiful September day with hardly a cloud in the sky, the sun shone brightly, setting the tone for an incredible celebration.
The morning preparations were filled with excitement, with Stevie getting ready in one of the huts while Cat got ready in the main house. The stunning surroundings and perfect weather added that extra touch to the start of their day.
Their ceremony, conducted by a close friend, was filled with heartfelt moments. Tears and laughter echoed through the space as the sun streamed through the large windows at the end of the aisle, casting a warm glow over Cat and Stevie.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered outside to soak in the picturesque views of the sea to the sounds of Rachael Green and her guitar. The atmosphere began to build and everyone was getting into the mood for a great party, singing and dancing along to the music.
Before the meal, close family and friends delivered some touching speeches. Their words brought laughter and a few happy tears.
After the meal, I sneaked Stevie and Cat away in my car to a spot further up the hill, offering incredible panoramic views of the rolling hills and sea. As the sun began to set, we captured some stunning portraits of the couple and we had a great laugh together as the sun set on an amazing day.
The evening party kicked off with a brilliant first dance before the dance floor came alive with guests enjoying dance tune classics. Sparklers outside added a magical touch to the celebrations, and the party continued well into the night. It was an amazing wedding with two fantastic people in an unreal setting.
