Here’s my Best of 2025 roundup. A collection of moments from weddings I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this year. As always, if I went back through the galleries again tomorrow, it would probably be a completely different selection. There were just that many good moments to choose from.
I travelled all over in 2025, including shooting weddings as far as Cyprus. One of my favourite parts of this job is seeing new places, so being able to mix travel with weddings is always a massive bonus.
2025 was also the year I finally got married myself. I married the love of my life Lucy and we made our family complete. Being on the other side of the camera was very surreal, but it gave me a whole new appreciation for how special that day really is. Joining the married club has been unreal. It was genuinely the best day of our lives and even five months on, we’re still riding that high.
On a personal level, 2025 was a big year for fitness too. I’ve always loved sport, but this year I really wanted to push myself. I took on the National Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Honestly, one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Never again!
I also entered my first HYROX, which was an amazing experience. I trained for it throughout the year and I’m already planning to do it again in 2026 and beat my time. Once you’re in, you’re in.
Photography wise, 2025 has been a bit overwhelming in the best possible way. I’ve been lucky enough to win awards throughout the year. This Is Reportage ranked me in the top 10 photographers in the world for documentary wedding photography, the only style of photography that’s ever felt true to me.
Fearless Photographers (the Oscars of the wedding photography industry) then went and completely blew my mind. Ranked number one wedding photographer in the UK and top five in the world for 2025. I remember when I first started out in wedding photography thinking how mad it would be just to win one Fearless award, knowing how high the standard is. To win eight in 2025 is something I’ll never take for granted.
