Bolton Wedding Photographer
Let’s chase light
Hello, I’m Ally, I am an award winning wedding photographer based in Manchester, I also cover Lancashire, the North West, the UK and anywhere on the planet really. My photography style is mainly documentary, which means I like to capture your wedding in a totally natural way. I work as unobtrusively as possible, blending in the background and creatively capturing those moments as they unfold throughout the day. Real smiles, Real laughter, Real emotion!
I tend not to follow any photography trends that come and go. I want your images to be timeless, so in years to come, when you and your family are looking through your wedding photos, those images will still look as special then as they do today. I approach weddings in a different way than a traditional style of wedding photography. I love to look out for those quirky moments, those random fun moments that make a wedding unique.
Bolton Wedding Photography
Being a wedding photographer in Bolton gives me the opportunity to work with some great Venues and Wedding vendors in the Bolton area.
A great venue were I love to shoot weddings is Bolton school it’s one of the oldest schools in Lancashire. The origins of the school can be tracked back as far as the 1500’s. It really is a beautiful building. Getting pictures of bride and grooms in this backdrop is a photographers dream. ( http://bssevents.com/)
I love to photograph weddings at Rivington Hall barn. The Barn is a historic Grade ll listed building believed to date back to the 12th century and still retains original features including its huge Saxon beams. ( www.rivingtonhallbarn.co.uk )
The Wellbeing Farm is a really unique venue for a wedding. A working farm with llamas in dickie bows and donkeys in flat caps. It really is a fantastic and unique venue for a wedding.
Recently engaged, or just started the planning process?
You’re about to embark on a wonderful whirlwind journey, so congratulations to you both. For me wedding photography is all about people. My passion lies in capturing the most beautiful, natural images of your wedding day that you can enjoy for a lifetime. When people say that the day will pass in a blur, they’re not wrong. That’s why you need a photographer that will capture all those moments that tell your story, and this is exactly what I strive to achieve at every wedding I photograph.

Memories
After the best day of your life, what else remains? Photographs! Snapshots that spark a series of memories and emotions to come flooding back. When looking for a wedding photographer, find the person you connect with, whose images you love and whose photographs make you feel as if you’re part of the party. Have a look through my blog – these are some examples of the many memories I capture for couples.
